Last month TAHAL's International Division signed a contract for an agricultural development project valued at Euro 62 million (about NIS 300 million). Services include design, development, procurement, construction, and consulting and management support.   The project involves development of extensive agricultural areas. According to the contract, implementation will cover a period of four years, with a possibility of extension for additional one-year periods.   The field of agricultural development is expected to evolve into one of TAHAL's most significant growth engines in the coming years. The extensive agricultural know-how that has been amassed in the company exists in synergy with its activities in the areas of water resources and infrastructure development, and answers the increasing need for food security worldwide.   The contract is yet another example of TAHAL's investment in development of know-how and capabilities in the above spheres and joins other contracts that have been signed by the company with additional countries during the past year.
